CONGRATULATIONS!
Peterson Volunteer of the Week

Our parent volunteer of the week is:

Amie Stachniak

I have two children at Peterson, Jake in 8th grade (it is hard to believe) and Sadie in 5th. My husband is a mechanical engineer for an aerospace company in Niles. We have lived on our amazing block for 18 years!

What I love most about volunteering is the happiness it gives me and spreading that cheer. One of my favorite days of the week is Friday because I bring our left over reusable food from the weeks lunches to the Friendship Center food pantry, which helps feed our neighbors in need. (Thanks Ms. Litza)

IMPORTANT Notes and Dates for Middle School:

1) The IB (International Baccalaureate) programs no longer require interviews as part of the application process.  However, they now require a minimum GPA (grade point average) of 2.5 and that you and your child attend an information session at the school.

2) The Military Academies also no longer require interviews as part of the application process.  However, they now require students to complete a questionnaire and essay(s), as well as attend an information session.  Your child only has to attend one information session and it can be at any of the military academies
